Our experienced team is committed to ensuring every resident feels valued, respected, and at home.
Our Owners
Long-time valley residents, Allen & Kathy Conn and Trevor & Rachel Olson have teamed up with Rachel’s parents, Dr. Robert & Carlotta Jackson from South Carolina to offer a beautiful living space for Alaska Seniors. With a shared, deeply-held conviction that life is a gift from God, our hope is that every person who chooses to make Mountain Meadows their home will be cherished, treated with dignity and care, and live every day to the full.
Dr. Robert Jackson has practiced medicine in the Spartanburg, South Carolina area for over 40 years. A published author, he also regularly volunteers his time in Mexico. He and his wife, Carlotta, are parents to 9 children (2 special needs) and grandparents to 18. They’ve traveled together to do missions work in India and Thailand.
Trevor and Rachel Olson have been very active as foster parents, having taken in nearly 50 kids to experience the safety and love of their home. They founded REACH907 and Resilience Behavioral Health, with a mission to Restore, Empower, and Strengthen Alaska’s at-risk youth and their families, working closely with Mat-Su Health Foundation and OCS. REACH 907 just announced have added foster placement to their services. Rachel was recognized in the 2024 Who’s Who Under 40 and recently inducted into the 2025 Who’s Who in America. After successful teaching careers, they owned and operated Sell, Buy, Forward Real Estate Brokerage, all while raising their own three children and scores of others. Rachel has done missions work in Haiti and Mexico, and taught in Venezuela. Trevor has done extensive volunteer missions work in Colombia, Venezuela, Russia, Pakistan, and shorter term in Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Kenya, Israel, Swaziland, and the UK.
Allen and Kathy Conn chose the Mat-Su as the perfect place to raise their six children. Allen has spent most of his adult life as a builder, both with F.E. Construction and their own construction company, AKC Homes. His most recent project was as superintendent, building the new Mat-Su Central School off Trunk Road. After years of teaching and then as coordinator for Northgate Alaska’s global outreach, when she’s not busy leading a tour group to Israel and other Mediterranean destinations, Kathy remains active holding the residential endorsement for AKC Homes General Contractors. Her most recent accomplishment was the change-of-occupancy remodel of Mountain Meadows Assisted Living Home. Together they led volunteer groups to Russia and a young adult team on an extended learning trip literally around the world. Kathy serves as coordinator for the Valley Pastors Prayer Network.
